Mission Context

As part of its Data & AI strategy, a large international industrial group is looking for a Data Quality Expert with dual expertise in data quality and digital instructional design.

The objective of the mission is to design an awareness module on data quality, with a maximum duration of 30 minutes, intended for the group's employees.

This training should enable understanding of Data Quality issues, the responsibilities of different stakeholders, and the concrete impacts of poor data quality on operational and industrial activities and the company's performance.

• Needs Analysis and Scoping
• Understand the Data & AI strategy and the company's Data Quality framework.
• Analyze existing training materials.
• Identify employee awareness needs.
• Define learning objectives and structure the training path.
• Identification of Concrete Data Quality Cases
• Organize discussions with business, industrial, and Data Office teams.
• Identify real incidents related to poor data quality.
• Assess their operational, financial, and organizational impacts.
• Analyze root causes and corrective actions implemented.
• Construct before/after scenarios illustrating the benefits of improving data quality.
• eLearning Module Design
• Design a training path with a maximum duration of 30 minutes.
• Structure the chapters and different training sequences.
• Write educational content, scripts, and detailed storyboards.
• Prepare narrations, visuals, animations, and simulations.
• Integrate interactive elements and knowledge validation quizzes.
• Prepare the necessary elements for module production with Synthesia or an equivalent tool.
• Validation and Delivery
• Coordinate review phases with Data experts and business teams.
• Consolidate feedback and adjust educational content.
• Define criteria for evaluating training effectiveness.
• Deliver finalized materials, source files, and production instructions.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Data Quality, Data Governance, or Data Management.
• Proven experience in designing digital training, eLearning modules, or awareness programs.
• Excellent command of Data Quality concepts: quality dimensions, controls, rules, monitoring, anomaly management, and remediation.
• Ability to identify and analyze concrete business use cases.
• Solid skills in instructional design, storytelling, and simplifying complex topics.
• Experience in writing scripts and storyboards.
• Proficiency in Synthesia highly appreciated, or an equivalent tool.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with business and technical stakeholders.
• Professional proficiency in French and English.
• Training plan and learning objectives.
• Detailed structure of the eLearning module.
• Documented and scripted Data Quality use cases.
• Detailed scripts, narrations, and storyboards.
• Materials and elements ready for production.
• Knowledge validation quizzes and evaluation criteria.
