Mission Context

As part of strengthening the analysis and steering capabilities of a major player in the social protection sector, we are looking for an experienced/senior Data Analyst capable of exploiting and validating data from heterogeneous sources to produce reliable indicators and analyses useful for decision-making.

You will work closely with business teams and management, in collaboration with Data and IT teams.

The challenge is to transform available data into actionable information, ensure the consistency of indicators, and develop steering tools adapted to user needs.

Profile Sought

You ideally have a minimum of 5 years of experience in Data Analyst, BI Consultant, or Business Analyst Data roles, with practical experience in data analysis.

Beyond your technical skills, we are looking for a profile capable of working autonomously with business teams, understanding their challenges, and making data accessible and usable.

You are recognized for your analytical rigor, critical thinking, synthesis skills, and interpersonal skills.

Experience in the insurance, social protection, or financial services sectors would be a plus.

• Identify, extract, cross-reference, and analyze data from different sources: databases, datamarts, decision-making tools, and business files.
• Perform complex SQL analyses to identify trends, discrepancies, anomalies, and areas for improvement.
• Control the quality, consistency, and reliability of the data exploited.
• Gather and formalize the needs of business teams and management.
• Define Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and their management rules.
• Design, develop, and evolve dashboards and reports.
• Contribute to the industrialization and validation of steering tools.
• Present analyses clearly and in a structured manner.
• Formulate operational recommendations to facilitate decision-making.
• Document sources, processes, indicators, and management rules.
• Organize acceptance testing phases and support users in adopting the tools.
• Very good command of SQL: complex queries, joins, aggregations, data reconciliation.
• Experience with relational databases, ideally PostgreSQL.
• Good command of a data visualization tool, ideally Power BI (Tableau, Qlik, or equivalent).
• Proven experience in data analysis and Data Quality.
• Good understanding of decision-making environments, datamarts, and reporting processes.
• Proficiency in Excel for data analysis and manipulation.
• Ability to gather and challenge business needs.
• Experience in defining KPIs and formalizing management rules.
• Ability to interpret results and formulate recommendations.
• Experience with functional documentation and user acceptance testing.
• A cross-functional role with close proximity to business teams.
