Expert Privacy / GDPR

Project overview

We are looking for an expert Privacy / GDPR for a long-term mission with our client in the banking/finance sector in the Paris region, as part of a permanent executive recruitment with Ingéniance.

You will strengthen a data governance team responsible for structuring the first line of defense for personal data protection, at the group level as well as its entities and countries.

Your missions:

This position focuses on GDPR and organization, not IT, architecture, or cybersecurity. You will join a community of experts, with a real career path at Ingéniance.

Profile sought

Bachelor's degree or higher (law, compliance, data management, or equivalent). You have strong operational expertise in GDPR and Privacy frameworks, ideally acquired in insurance, or failing that, in a regulated financial environment. You are proficient in processing registers, DPIAs, rights management, and incident management. Proven experience is expected. You know how to structure, formalize, and animate a community. You are rigorous, comfortable in writing and speaking, and possess good communication skills with various stakeholders. Professional English is useful for communicating with countries.

• Define and organize the first line of defense Privacy missions for the central scope: processing register, exercising data subject rights, incidents and DLP, impact analyses (DPIA), awareness.
• Map existing Privacy processes, their stakeholders, their responsibilities, and their interactions.
• Identify prerequisites and possible improvements, particularly regarding personal data transfers.
• Structure the animation role for countries and entities: Privacy community, procedures, common governance principles.
• Clarify responsibilities between the central level and the France scope, especially on border subjects.
• Contribute to a coherent and operational Privacy framework, with clearly defined roles, processes, and interfaces.
