Project overview

As part of a major IT systems overhaul program, an insurance company is strengthening its P&C Solutions department within its Digital and IT Directorate. The mission consists of managing one or more work packages of a strategic project, particularly in the publishing scope, ensuring control over costs, deadlines, and commitments. A central challenge is optimizing the solutions offered to business units to achieve substantial savings on the projected budget.

Expected Profile:

Senior IT Project Manager with over 8 years of experience, significant references in the insurance sector, and essential expertise in publishing projects. Proven experience in managing projects or work packages representing over 3,000 man-days is expected, along with excellent command of project methodologies, team leadership, and stakeholder coordination. Functional knowledge in P&C insurance is a plus. On-site presence in Niort is required full-time for the first month, then at least 3 days per week; an initial unpaid period of 5 to 10 days is desired by the client.

• Manage an IT project portfolio and take charge of at least one work package related to publishing
• Frame projects, define objectives, scopes, deliverables, and associated commitments
• Support business units in formalizing needs and identifying suitable solutions
• Organize and lead workshops with business and IT teams to optimize solutions and reduce projected costs
• Manage the design and implementation of solutions, ensuring their functional and technical consistency
• Plan activities, allocate resources, and coordinate various stakeholders
• Organize acceptance testing, verification, and deliverable validation phases
• Coordinate deployments, go-lives, and transition to RUN
• Support end-users in change management
• Ensure commitments are met regarding schedule, budget, quality, and scope
• Identify, analyze, and manage project risks and associated action plans
• Build and track dashboards, progress indicators, and management tools
• Organize and lead project committees, steering committees, and governance bodies
• Produce weekly reports for the P&C Management Committee, framing notes, summaries, and committee support materials
