The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced FP&A Analyst to join a growing and fast-paced organisation based in Reading on an interim basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially focused finance professional to support the business with budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling and performance analysis.

The successful candidate will play a key role in providing meaningful financial insight, supporting strategic decision-making and helping senior stakeholders understand business performance and future opportunities.

• Support the budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning processes.
• Develop and maintain financial models to support business decisions.
• Produce weekly and monthly performance reporting packs.
• Analyse financial and operational data, highlighting trends and key variances.
• Provide revenue, cost and profitability analysis.
• Support cash flow forecasting and scenario planning activities.
• Partner with budget holders and department leaders across the business.
• Deliver KPI reporting and performance insight to senior management.
• Assist with board reporting and presentation materials.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and reporting efficiencies.
• Qualified or part-qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA.
• Previous experience within FP&A, Commercial Finance or a Financial Analyst role.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling experience.
• Advanced Excel skills, including modelling and data analysis.
• Experience using ERP systems and reporting tools such as Power BI, SAP, Oracle or NetSuite.
• Strong commercial awareness and analytical mindset.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.
• Available immediately or at short notice preferred.
• Competitive day rate of £350
• £450 per day.
