About the Client

Digital Skills are working with a Global Software organisation on a high-priority customer loyalty programme, developing new web and app experiences to help customers understand, use and renew their loyalty benefits.

About the Role

This is a hands-on Full Stack Engineer position with a strong focus on Front End development using React and TypeScript, alongside Back End development using Java.

You will build responsive, high-quality customer-facing applications, develop reusable UI components and integrate with APIs and Back End services. You will also contribute to AWS-based application delivery, working closely with Product, UX and engineering teams across multiple international locations.

Agentic AI will form an important part of the delivery approach, with responsibility for reviewing and validating AI-generated code to ensure quality, security and maintainability.

Summary Of The Best Candidate

The ideal candidate will be a hands-on Full Stack Engineer who is strongest in React and TypeScript, with solid Java Back End experience and exposure to AWS.

They will be comfortable building modern customer-facing applications, integrating with APIs and contributing across the stack. Experience using AI coding agents, writing automated tests and taking ownership of production-quality software is also important.

• Develop customer-facing applications using React, TypeScript and modern JavaScript.
• Build reusable UI components and contribute to micro Front End architectures.
• Develop and maintain Java-based Back End services and APIs.
• Integrate applications with REST and GraphQL APIs.
• Deploy and support applications on AWS.
• Write automated tests and maintain high standards of code quality, performance and accessibility.
• Use AI coding agents to accelerate development while validating generated code.
• Take ownership of features from design through to deployment and production support.
• Collaborate with Product, UX and engineering teams across distributed locations.
• Strong commercial experience with React, TypeScript and modern JavaScript.
• Full Stack development experience, with a clear emphasis on Front End engineering.
• Commercial experience with Java and Back End services, ideally using Spring Boot.
• Experience with REST APIs, GraphQL and micro Front End architectures.
• Experience delivering applications on AWS.
• Practical experience using Agentic AI tools within software development.
• Strong understanding of automated testing, Git, code reviews and CI/CD.
• Docker, Kubernetes and infrastructure-as-code experience would be advantageous.
• Experience with customer-facing platforms, loyalty products or personalisation would be beneficial.
