Job description

As a Functional Administrator, you will ensure the stable, secure, and effective use of the low-code platform within the organization. You will support development teams, manage functionality, monitor data quality, and ensure that applications and components meet process, security, and compliance requirements.

Functional platform management

◦ Setting up and managing tenants, authorizations, roles, and access groups.

◦ Monitoring functional platform configurations, component usage, and modeling.

◦ Coordinating releases, acceptance, test scenarios, and documentation.

Support for DevOps teams

◦ Advising on modeling, components, data models, and integration patterns.

◦ Identifying functional issues and guiding solutions.

◦ Communicating platform guidelines, best practices, and guardrails.

Incident & change management

◦ Registering, prioritizing, and handling functional incidents.

◦ Translating business needs into change requests.

◦ Coordinating with technical management on platform issues or integration problems.

Data quality & process monitoring

◦ Checking data models, validation rules, and process flows.

◦ Monitoring consistency between applications and domains.

◦ Performing functional checks and audits.

Adoption & onboarding

◦ Supporting new teams with onboarding onto the platform.

◦ Creating manuals, instructions, training, and release communications.

◦ Promoting platform adoption by users and development teams.

Governance & compliance

◦ Applying security and privacy guidelines (GDPR, RBAC, audit logging).

◦ Monitoring the use of components, integrations, and modeling.

◦ Contributing to platform governance, lifecycle management, and quality standards.

The Generic Support Services department within the Generic Facilities directorate is acquiring a low-code platform (LCP). This platform runs entirely on-premises (air-gapped) on the Red Hat OpenShift container platform. The intention is to make the LCP available to development teams, so that these colleagues can develop, deploy, and manage applications compliantly and securely within the Tax Administration's network.

The Information Provision (IV) concern unit of the Tax Administration is responsible for delivering all ICT services for the Tax Administration's processes. The IV unit Integration Business Services (IBS) Income Tax (IH) provides these services in line with the primary process of the Income Tax chain. We work on one of the most business-critical systems in the Netherlands, where many applications are brought together and integrated by IV IBS Income Tax into one working solution.
