Functional IT Project Manager – Credit Risk & Ratings – Banking

Project overview

As part of strategic IT transformation projects for a major banking group's Risk systems, we are looking for an experienced Functional IT Project Manager with solid knowledge of credit risk, rating systems, and banking regulatory requirements.

Reporting to the Risk IT Program Directorate, the consultant will work on several projects related to the modernization, pooling, and evolution of credit rating mechanisms.

They will support business and IT teams in project scoping, coordination, and monitoring, while contributing to the definition of roadmaps and securing deliverables.

Main missions

• Lead and coordinate IT projects related to credit risk and banking rating systems.
• Participate in the scoping of business needs and the analysis of different transformation scenarios.
• Contribute to projects for pooling and evolving credit rating engines.
• Participate in work for pooling data used for modeling, calibration, and backtesting of credit risk models.
• Define and monitor roadmaps, schedules, budgets, and deliverables.
• Organize and lead project committees, business workshops, and monitoring bodies.
• Ensure coordination between business, Risk, IT teams, and various stakeholders.
• Build and monitor pilot indicators (KPIs), identify risks, and report alerts.
• Prepare analysis and decision-support elements for the Program Directorate.
• Participate in Agile SAFe planning and team monitoring rituals.
• Support business units in understanding proposed roadmaps and evolutions.
