Darwin Recruitment is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.

• Commission and test HV/MV electrical systems, including switchgear, transformers, power cables and protection systems.
• Carry out primary and secondary injection testing, protection relay testing and functional testing.
• Coordinate and witness Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT).
• Support system energisation, HV switching activities and integrated systems testing (IST).
• Review commissioning plans, test procedures, electrical drawings and technical specifications.
• Troubleshoot faults, resolve technical issues and manage outstanding works through to completion.
• Maintain commissioning records, test results and handover documentation.
• Coordinate with contractors, project teams and clients to ensure safe, timely delivery in line with project requirements.
• Previous HV commissioning experience within data centres or other critical infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of HV/MV switchgear, transformers, protection relays and power distribution.
• Experience with primary and secondary injection testing, FATs, SATs and system energisation.
• Understanding of HV safety procedures, isolation, earthing and permits to work.
• Ability to interpret electrical drawings and produce commissioning documentation.
• Relevant electrical qualification or equivalent practical experience.
• HV authorisation and experience with integrated systems testing. (desired)
• Strong communication, problem-solving skills and commitment to health and safety.
