Information Security Officer

Project overview

Guiding the implementation of improved information security policy within HAN, in the context of the Higher Education Cybersecurity Regulation.

Profile of the suited interim professional:

• Support and advise on communicating and implementing information security policy
• Translate policy and technically complex measures into understandable explanations for stakeholders, including within ICT
• Strengthen the project team focused on increasing the maturity of information security
• Relieve the line team by providing extra temporary capacity
• Contribute to structural growth in the field of information security and cyber resilience
• Completed relevant HBO or WO master's degree
• Relevant certifications in the field of information security, for example CISSP or CISM
• Minimum of 5 years of work experience in information security within a complex organization
• Experience with relevant assignments in the field of information security and privacy
• Knowledge of the Cybersecurity Act, the SURF framework, or comparable standards such as ISO27001/2 is a plus
• Open personality with the ability to nuance and relativize
• Highly developed sense of team dynamics and organizational sensitivity
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Tactical and skilled in various consultation formats (forums)
