Assignment Description

The Information Security Specialist is a second-line function and advises the first-line organization. The first line is responsible for their security but needs the Information Security Specialists for this. This is done in various ways: advising, reviewing, assessing, and checking.

HOW?

With ad hoc questions, incidents, assessing and reviewing various documents, such as architectural designs and change requests. Advising on risk (analyses).

The list of tasks performed by the Information Security Specialist is too long to be complete here. The Information Security Specialist takes into account applicable standards, frameworks, and processes.

We transfer as much knowledge as possible to our colleagues so that everyone is broadly aware of developments and their role in them. We therefore expect you to actively contribute to this. We take into account the division of tasks to ensure it aligns as much as possible with your knowledge, skills, and ambitions.

Background of the assignment

Within DICTU, we apply appropriate measures, thereby limiting Information Security incidents due to, for example, human error (both conscious and unconscious) to a minimum. Innovative technology and new ways of working support us.

In addition to close contact within your own team, you will also interact with various stakeholders. This demands a lot from your interpersonal skills and offers you the opportunity to develop yourself further personally, socially, and communicatively.

Requirements

Demonstrable experience with Information Security, demonstrable in ISO 27001/2.

Minimum of 3 years of demonstrable experience in reviewing firewall requests.

Demonstrable security foundation certificates.

Minimum of 3 years of demonstrable experience with and/or training in network security solutions and Linux.

Minimum of 2 years of demonstrable experience in performing risk analyses.

Wishes

Demonstrable training as a Scrum Master.

Demonstrable experience with Agile working.

Demonstrable experience in Advising / consultancy.

Demonstrable Ethical Hacking certificate

Additional information

When you, as a supplier, offer a professional to us and they are placed, we need information from you as a contracting party, including regarding the Chain Liability (Liability of the contracting party) Act. The purpose of the 'WKA' is to prevent abuse in the remittance of payroll taxes at all links in the chain; from supplier to client. We cover these risks for our clients by means of a blocked account, the G-account. This is an account to which a portion of the invoice amount is deposited and from which you can pay payroll taxes and VAT to the Tax Authorities.

The percentage to be deposited depends on whether you have SNA certification (NEN-4400-1 or NEN-4400-2) and whether your company is established in the Netherlands or abroad. You can apply for the G-account from the Tax Authorities. If you cannot obtain a G-account (and you can provide proof of this from the Tax Authorities), you also have the option to provide an accountant's statement (assurance report regarding personnel lending) every quarter. In this, a certified accountant (AA or RA) will issue a statement on the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of the remittances.
