Background: A municipal organization in Gelderland wants to realize concrete products and advice for four temporary communication issues. The projects are defined and do not replace a regular function or structural activities.

Intention: Deliver four communication projects with accessible, applicable, and transferable communication products and advice.

Organization

You will work for a municipal organization in Gelderland that further improves its service provision, communication, and information provision to residents and other stakeholders. The assignment consists of temporary, defined communication projects with a clear start and end point.

Interim Communication Advisor Projects

As an Interim Communication Advisor Projects, you will independently realize four communication projects in the areas of municipal news, the Wmo (Social Support Act) process, subsidy information, and a campaign for parents and educators. You will use specific expertise in communication advice, target group communication, campaigns, content development, and accessible government communication to deliver the agreed-upon products for each project.

You determine the approach, planning, and execution yourself. The client assesses the delivered results and does not provide substantive instructions on how to execute them. You are not part of the organization and are not managed as an employee.

The execution must be organized in such a way that no employment contract or fictitious employment relationship is created with the client. The contractor is responsible for the correct qualification of the employment relationship and must substantiate how this execution condition is met upon registration. The actual execution is decisive.

• Content for municipal news: analyze the current municipal news provision for the 'society' domain, prepare improvement proposals, develop a new format, deliver concrete communication guidelines, and realize weekly content;
• Visual letter and visual customer journey Wmo: analyze the current communication and customer inquiries, develop a visual customer journey, create a visual letter, and produce concrete communication tools that suit the target group;
• Website structure subsidies: develop a new web structure and a structural proposal for subsidy information, develop a flowchart for subsidy applications, and advise on accessibility and user-friendliness;
• Campaign normalization and parenting: develop a campaign concept, target group analysis, core message, communication strategy, media mix, and campaign proposal for expectant parents, parents, and educators, and develop the communication tools;
• Final result: deliver the agreed-upon communication products and advice in terms of content and visuals, so that concrete communication tools are available and the advice is transferable and executable within the organization. The projects are completed within the agreed duration.

• Completed Bachelor's or Master's degree in Communication, Media, Journalism, or equivalent;
• Minimum of 5 years of work experience as a communication advisor within a government or social organization;
• Experience with project-based communication assignments and independently delivering communication products;
• Experience with target group-oriented communication and/or accessible government communication;
• Experience with campaigns, communication advice, and content development;
• Available for the duration of the assignment up to and including June 30, 2027, including any extensions.
• Work experience with project-based communication advisory assignments within a government organization;
• Work experience with visual communication, customer journeys, and accessible communication;
• Work experience with campaign development and target group-oriented communication;
• Work experience with digital communication and website structures.
