• Role starting at the end of September.
• Hybrid role with offices based on the outskirts of Southampton.
• Manage the preparation and review of financial statements and reports.
• Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and internal financial policies.
• Oversee cash flow and budgeting to support operational needs.
• Lead month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Provide financial analysis and insights to aid decision-making.
• Work closely with external auditors during audits.
• Identify and implement process improvements within the finance function.
• Support the team with ad hoc financial tasks as required.
• Strong technical knowledge of accounting and financial processes.
• Experience in the industrial or manufacturing sector is preferred.
• A professional qualification in accounting (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in financial systems and software.
• The ability to work effectively in a temporary role with minimal supervision.
• Daily rate: £325 to £385.00, dependent on the level of experience.
• Temporary position with a focus on impactful financial management.
