- Role starting at the end of September.
- Hybrid role with offices based on the outskirts of Southampton.
- Manage the preparation and review of financial statements and reports.
- Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and internal financial policies.
- Oversee cash flow and budgeting to support operational needs.
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Provide financial analysis and insights to aid decision-making.
- Work closely with external auditors during audits.
- Identify and implement process improvements within the finance function.
- Support the team with ad hoc financial tasks as required.
- Strong technical knowledge of accounting and financial processes.
- Experience in the industrial or manufacturing sector is preferred.
- A professional qualification in accounting (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in financial systems and software.
- The ability to work effectively in a temporary role with minimal supervision.
- Daily rate: £325 to £385.00, dependent on the level of experience.
- Temporary position with a focus on impactful financial management.
