Seeking an interim legal advisor for a municipality to provide advice and handle enforcement within administrative law. The role involves drafting legal documents, reviewing decisions, advising on enforcement instruments, and managing objection and appeal cases.
Project overview
The assignment concerns legal advice and enforcement within administrative law for a municipality.
Profile of the suited interim professional:
- Mapping and drafting missing designation decisions, letter formats, and other legal grounds
- Reviewing, improving, and updating decisions, correspondence, policy documents, and council proposals
- Advising on the use of administrative law instruments in complex enforcement files
- Handling objection and appeal cases within the domain of Public Space Enforcement
- Drafting defense statements, legal documents, and legal advice
- Representing the council at the objections committee and the court
- Participating in meetings necessary for the execution of the assignment
- Legal education, successfully completed at a minimum HBO bachelor level
- Minimum 8 years of experience within the last 12 years in the field of municipal enforcement and administrative law
- Minimum 5 years of experience handling objection and appeal procedures
- Preferred: minimum 1 year of experience within the BOA domain
- Preferred: minimum 8 years of experience drafting legal decisions and case files
- Preferred: minimum 5 years of experience as a legal advisor/lawyer within a municipality
