Interim Manager Waste Collection (secondment)

Project overview

As interim manager, you will lead the Waste Collection department and ensure continuity during a period of long-term illness of the permanent manager.

Profile of the suited interim professional:

• Managing three unit managers and the teams Customer Service, Inspection, Planning, Contract Management, and Secretariat
• Ensuring the continuity and quality of waste collection and processing
• Focusing on results, safety, cooperation, and efficient deployment of people and resources
• Stimulating the further professionalization and development of the department
• Guiding employees through changes with a coaching leadership style
• Acting as a discussion partner for employees, management, and the board
• Minimum of 5 years of demonstrable experience as an interim manager, operational manager, or department manager
• Proven experience in leading a department with both internal and external staff
• Physically available on location at least 4 days per week
• Valid Certificate of Conduct (VOG)
• Minimum completed HBO bachelor's degree
• Experience with organizational development, process improvement, or change processes is a plus
• Experience with personnel development and coaching of employees and managers is a plus
