Java / Kafka Developer and Release Manager (Senior) M/F

Project overview

Hexagone Digitale is looking for a Java / Kafka Developer and Release Manager to join the development team of one of its clients.

Context

You will join a development team working on complex applications, with a dual responsibility: developing and managing the release process. Releases occur approximately every month and a half, excluding hotfixes, using a Gitflow model with a customized process.

Your missions

Profile sought

• Develop in Java / Kafka within the team.
• Coordinate, secure, and manage the deployment of versions.
• Manage production deployments, in collaboration with the client's IT teams and the project.
• Manage versioning and branches, including in complex situations.

Requirements

Essential skills

A plus

• Proven experience with complex applications, with a true release culture.
• Senior profile, autonomous, with dual expertise in development and release management.
• Good soft skills and a good posture within a team.
• Experience managing complex versions and branches.
• Java 17 / 21 and Spring Boot
• Kafka
• Git, with Gitflow
• Management of releases and production deployments
• XL Release / XL Deploy
