Seeking a Senior Java/Kafka Developer and Release Manager to join a development team, responsible for both development and managing the release process for complex applications.
Project overview
Hexagone Digitale is looking for a Java / Kafka Developer and Release Manager to join the development team of one of its clients.
Context
You will join a development team working on complex applications, with a dual responsibility: developing and managing the release process. Releases occur approximately every month and a half, excluding hotfixes, using a Gitflow model with a customized process.
Your missions
Profile sought
- Develop in Java / Kafka within the team.
- Coordinate, secure, and manage the deployment of versions.
- Manage production deployments, in collaboration with the client's IT teams and the project.
- Manage versioning and branches, including in complex situations.
Requirements
Essential skills
A plus
- Proven experience with complex applications, with a true release culture.
- Senior profile, autonomous, with dual expertise in development and release management.
- Good soft skills and a good posture within a team.
- Experience managing complex versions and branches.
- Java 17 / 21 and Spring Boot
- Kafka
- Git, with Gitflow
- Management of releases and production deployments
- XL Release / XL Deploy
