A leading global financial services organisation is seeking an experienced Java Low Latency Full Stack Engineer to join a high-performing technology team responsible for the development and enhancement of critical market-facing platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Required Experience

• Design, develop and maintain high-performance software applications using Core Java and C++
• Build and enhance low-latency, high-throughput components within mission-critical systems
• Optimise application performance through profiling, tuning and troubleshooting activities
• Develop and support Real Time data distribution and processing platforms
• Work closely with engineering, architecture and business teams to deliver technical solutions
• Contribute to infrastructure deployments, automation and continuous improvement initiatives
• Analyse and resolve complex production and performance-related issues
• Participate in technical design discussions and provide input into system architecture decisions
• Strong commercial experience developing applications using Core Java
• Good working knowledge of C++
• Experience working within low-latency or high-performance environments
• Strong Linux systems knowledge
• Experience with network programming, performance optimisation and troubleshooting
• Understanding of distributed systems and Real Time processing architectures
• Proven ability to develop resilient, scalable and fault-tolerant applications
