• High school diploma or GED; technical/vocational certification in industrial maintenance or electrical is a plus
• Minimum [3] years of industrial maintenance experience, preferably in food, meat, or beverage processing
• Experience or strong background in electrical troubleshooting (single and three-phase, motor controls, VFDs), mechanical repair, hydraulics, and pneumatics
• Strong background in preventive maintenance programs, welding/fabrication (stainless preferred), and reading schematics and blueprints
• Proven ability to independently diagnose and resolve equipment breakdowns in a fast-paced production environment
• Working knowledge of LOTO, OSHA safety standards, and food safety/GMP practices (USDA, HACCP, SQF)
• PLC troubleshooting and refrigeration (including ammonia) experience preferred
• Ability to work in cold (34-40F) and wet environments, stand for long periods, and lift up to 50 lbs
• Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and on-call as production requires
• Own basic hand tools [confirm]
