Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 + study support

1 day working from home

Hours: Monday-Thursday 8:30am-5:00pm Friday 8:30am-4:00pm 39 hours per week

We're working with an established manufacturing business in Leicester who are looking to recruit a Management Accountant to join their finance team. This is a broad, hands-on role supporting two subsidiaries, with responsibility across management accounting, budgeting, forecasting, analysis and business partnering.

The Role

About You

• Prepare monthly management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet, variance analysis and commentary
• Complete month-end journals, accruals, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations
• Analyse cost of sales, labour, production costs, stock and gross margins
• Support annual budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis
• Review standard costing and manufacturing absorption rates
• Work closely with operational stakeholders to understand performance and identify cost-saving opportunities
• Support VAT returns, year-end audit and tax requirements
• CIMA/ACCA qualified or studying towards
• Previous manufacturing experience ideally
• Strong management accounting and month-end experience
• Exposure to standard costing, stock and manufacturing cost analysis
• Strong analytical and Excel skills
• ERP system experience
• Confident communicating with both finance and non-finance stakeholders
• Start: flexible

• Rate: 40-45 EUR/h
