Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 + study support
1 day working from home
Hours: Monday-Thursday 8:30am-5:00pm Friday 8:30am-4:00pm 39 hours per week
We're working with an established manufacturing business in Leicester who are looking to recruit a Management Accountant to join their finance team. This is a broad, hands-on role supporting two subsidiaries, with responsibility across management accounting, budgeting, forecasting, analysis and business partnering.
The Role
About You
- Prepare monthly management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet, variance analysis and commentary
- Complete month-end journals, accruals, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations
- Analyse cost of sales, labour, production costs, stock and gross margins
- Support annual budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis
- Review standard costing and manufacturing absorption rates
- Work closely with operational stakeholders to understand performance and identify cost-saving opportunities
- Support VAT returns, year-end audit and tax requirements
- CIMA/ACCA qualified or studying towards
- Previous manufacturing experience ideally
- Strong management accounting and month-end experience
- Exposure to standard costing, stock and manufacturing cost analysis
- Strong analytical and Excel skills
- ERP system experience
- Confident communicating with both finance and non-finance stakeholders
- Start: flexible

- Rate: 40-45 EUR/h
