Manager Ambulance Care (interim)

Project overview

As an interim manager, you will lead one or more ambulance stations within Ambulance Care Gelderland-Zuid.

Profile of the suited interim professional:

• Managing a team of professionals working in ambulance care
• Coaching employees in a constantly changing work environment
• Managing personnel issues, absenteeism, development, and employability
• Overseeing the quality, continuity, and efficiency of the services provided
• Advising management and the board on operational and tactical issues
• Coordinating with partners, both internal and external, within the acute care chain
• Improving processes and contributing to the development of the organization
• Demonstrable experience of at least 5 years, gained in the last 10 years, in a broad management role within healthcare
• Diploma at a minimum HBO bachelor level
• Availability from December 1, 2026, for an average of 32 to 36 hours per week for the entire duration of the assignment
• Knowledge of ambulance care and/or healthcare organizations in the Gelderland-Zuid region is a plus
• Experience with safety regions and/or regional healthcare networks is a plus
• Experience with collaboration with chain partners within acute care is a plus
