Manager Finance and Control (secondment)

Project overview

The assignment focuses on setting up and operationalizing a Finance and Control process within the IT organization of the police.

Profile of the suited interim professional:

• Coordinate the design and implementation of a Finance and Control process for the entire IT assignment
• Position the reference Corporate Leadership and the team of directors within this process
• Participate in the bi-weekly directors' meeting within the information provision domain
• Develop and realize reports from the Planning and Control cycle for steering, strategy, and advice towards the Corporate Chief/corporate leadership and the Ministry of Justice and Security
• Establish and execute the strategic advisory function from information provision towards the Corporate Leadership, in collaboration with the chain
• Prepare and implement a proposal for a budget cluster where budgeting and realization come together
• Proven work experience in accountancy
• Completed university study in Finance or a comparable financial field
• Proven knowledge level in the field of Finance & Control
• Knowledge and experience in the area of a political-administrative environment
• Knowledge or experience regarding the complexity of a large operational organization with a strong IT component
• Capacity to translate strategic goals into concrete products and execute them independently
