Project overview

As a Backend Developer, you will work within the Business Applications Team on a modular C# / ASP.NET Core architecture.

Profile of the suited interim professional:

• Build and manage backend functionality with C# and ASP.NET Core
• Build new features and modules in both shared libraries and the application-specific layer
• Develop and manage REST APIs
• Set up and manage data models using Entity Framework Core and MSSQL
• Connect and process internal and external APIs and data
• Consult with front-end developers on API contracts, data models, and error handling
• Create unit and integration tests and resolve technical issues
• Monitor performance, stability, security, and code quality according to OWASP principles
• Document code, APIs, and technical choices
• Contribute to architectural improvements, code reviews, and standardization of components
• Demonstrable experience with developing .NET applications
• Education or equivalent experience in C#, .NET, and ASP.NET Core
• Experience with analyzing, coding, testing, and debugging, including independently
• Knowledge of and experience with Agile development methodologies
• Proficiency in Dutch at CEFR level C2
• Thorough knowledge of C# and ASP.NET Core
• Experience with Entity Framework Core or a similar ORM
• Experience with relational databases and SQL, MSSQL is preferred
• Experience with REST APIs and JSON processing
• Understanding of modular software architecture
• Experience with version control using Git
• Experience with automated testing
• Awareness of software security and OWASP principles
• Ability to independently analyze and solve technical problems
