Project overview
This is a senior, Level 3 operations role supporting an international MuleSoft integration platform for AXA; the focus is platform reliability and production support, not API development. The key requirements are 5–7 years of MuleSoft platform management, expertise with Terraform, GitHub, OpenShift and Argo CI/CD, knowledge of OAuth and OpenID, foundational AWS and Azure knowledge, ITIL processes, and strong stakeholder communication. XML, XSD, WSDL, Java, JSON, MuleSoft Omni Gateway/Flex Gateway, Linux, Silva, networking, certificates, SOAPUI and Postman are preferred.
The structured input gives an experience range of 5–10 years, while the description specifies 5–7 years; the role is a contract in Madrid, hybrid with 1–2 onsite days per week, starting ASAP through the end of 2026 with possible extension through 2027. Responsibilities
- Handle escalated tickets from L2 and resolve incidents within SLA, including major incidents and service restoration
- Troubleshoot using logs, monitoring tools and system diagnostics; conduct initial RCA and recommend corrective actions
- Maintain SOPs, operational documentation and knowledge articles; track operational KPIs and service quality
- 5-7 years of expertise in MuleSoft platform management (platform operations, not API development)
- Authentication and authorization mechanisms: API security standards and implementation (OAuth, OpenID)
- Stakeholder engagement and communication in a multicultural environment (technical synthesis, workshop facilitation, influence management)
