For a client in the Zoersel region (Antwerp province), we are looking for an experienced freelance Payroll Specialist. Our client is a social bureau that handles the complete payroll and personnel administration for its clients. To strengthen the team, they are looking for a payroll professional who knows the Salar HRMS payroll engine inside out and can be immediately operational.

Your role:

As a Payroll Specialist, you will be partly responsible for correct and timely payroll processing for the social bureau's client portfolio. You will work independently in the HRMS payroll engine and be a fixed point of contact for payroll questions. Specifically:

Are you an experienced payroll professional who is proficient in HRMS and looking for a new freelance assignment? Then I would like to get in touch with you.

• you will handle the monthly payroll processing in HRMS, from input to control and closing;
• you will manage personnel files and process new hires, leavers, performance, and absences;
• you will follow up on social declarations (Dimona, DmfA, social documents);
• you will check calculations and resolve discrepancies and errors;
• you will answer payroll questions from clients and employees;
• you will follow up on changes in social legislation and joint committees and apply them in payroll processing.
• You have demonstrable experience as a payroll professional or payroll consultant in Belgium.
• You work smoothly and independently with the Salar HRMS payroll engine; this is a must.
• You know Belgian social legislation and the workings of joint committees.
• Experience within a social secretariat or social bureau is a strong asset.
• You work accurately, enjoy working with numbers, and maintain an overview, even during busy periods.
• You communicate clearly with clients and colleagues.
• You are available as a freelancer from the end of November, 2 to 3 days per week.

• Commitment: part-time, 2 to 3 days per week
