As a policy advisor, you will work within the chain Kansrijke Leefomgeving on local education policy.

Profile of the suited interim professional:

• Follow and signal relevant policy developments within the social domain
• Advise the board and colleagues on policy themes, goals, and effects
• Establish connections between education and other policy fields
• Apply project management skills to project-based issues
• Execute the Local Education Agenda and School Pilots Education-Youth Care
• Support the Compulsory Education team in policy matters
• Initiate a tender process for speech therapy screening
• Connect politics, policy, and implementation regarding education issues
• HBO work and thinking level
• Minimum 3 years of work experience as a policy advisor in a municipal organization
• Experience with project-based work and application of project management skills
• Knowledge of the social domain, with a specific focus on local education policy
• Minimum 3 years of demonstrable experience as an education policy advisor at a municipality in the last 5 years
• Demonstrable ability to communicate effortlessly with executives, social partners, management, and colleagues
