Jobbeschreibung
Seeking an experienced Process Specialist to join a working group focused on the transition of ARW to Amsterdam. The role involves developing a process governance model and updating/validating primary business processes.
Project overview
Job Description Process Specialist
Within the project for the transition from ARW to Amsterdam, various working groups have been established to advise Amsterdam on the controlled execution of this transition. For the working group Cohesion Primary Tasks and Processes, we are looking for an experienced Process Specialist.
This working group focuses on ensuring the feasibility of critical primary tasks and processes during the transition and after the integration of ARW into Amsterdam. This requires insight into which primary business processes are business-critical and the extent to which they depend on IT/ICT and supporting processes, such as procurement and finance.
The current process descriptions are not always up-to-date and uniform, and are insufficiently linked to roles, information, and applications. This makes it difficult to properly map the interfaces with Amsterdam's processes. There is also insufficient insight into the consequences of the transition of the IT/ICT organization for operational continuity.
As a Process Specialist, you will be part of the working group and play a leading and structuring role in developing the process governance model and updating and validating the existing primary business processes.
The assignment focuses on ARW's primary business processes and directly related supporting processes. Technical adjustments to applications and the implementation of organizational changes are outside the scope of the assignment.
What will you do?
You will develop a practically applicable process governance model for ARW and guide its adoption. Additionally, you will update and validate the business processes relevant to the transition. You will ensure that these processes are linked to roles and responsibilities, information, applications, and critical supporting processes. You will map the process architecture and the interdependencies between primary and supporting processes.
You will determine which processes are business-critical, to what extent the execution of primary tasks depends on supporting processes, and what continuity risks may arise when this support changes or diminishes. Based on this, you will formulate possible control measures to ensure operational continuity.
Furthermore, you will align the abstraction level and framework for process descriptions with Amsterdam, so that ARW's and Amsterdam's processes can be described and compared in a uniform manner. You will conduct an interface analysis that clarifies differences, overlaps, dependencies, and points of attention for the integration.
You will translate the analyses into substantiated advice for the ARW Management Team and the A-MT. You will clarify the relevant decision-making issues, dilemmas, risks, and next steps, so that well-founded choices can be made about how to handle the processes during the transition to Amsterdam.
