• Senior Designer
• Housing | Design Chapter | Products Reason: due to current designer's maternity leave Location: Rabobank headquarters, Croeselaan 18, Utrecht. Work arrangement: hybrid, minimum two days on location (Monday and Thursday). Possibly more, depending on demand (workshops etc.). Hours: fulltime (36 hours) Rate/scale: Senior, scale 9 Expected: design case/portfolio for review Duration: expected until June 1, 2027 We are looking for an experienced and versatile designer who wants to contribute to the development of intuitive and financially sound financing solutions for current and future homeowners in the Dutch market. Are you a designer with a passion for creating impactful customer experiences and a love for solving complex issues? As a Designer, you will play a crucial role in shaping end-to-end solutions that support our Retail NL Housing customers in their financial choices. The topics range from buying a house and going through the mortgage journey to sustainability and special management. The design team ensures that Rabobank is the destination for housing dreams. With your design solutions, you contribute to sustainable and financially healthy living for everyone. • Design end-to-end solutions within the Housing domain: research users, analyze their behavior, and visualize, create, and improve design concepts that guide product teams.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and developers to translate business requirements into innovative solutions.
• Apply the Rabobank Design System in concept development and design new components to expand the existing library.
• Collaborate intensively with front-end developers and other stakeholders to ensure a smooth development process and a high-quality end result.
• Improve new and existing processes and contribute to scalable products.
• Be comfortable operating in the exploratory and sometimes unclear initial phase of the design process and defining design challenges with stakeholders.
• Work in a collaborative design environment where you create and innovate together to achieve the best results.
• You have more than 6 years of experience in UX design and confidently take responsibility and ownership for design trajectories.
• You can lead large and complex design issues and translate complex problems into simple and intuitive solutions.
• You are flexible and can manage multiple projects and timelines simultaneously, delivering high-quality end-to-end design solutions that create demonstrable business value.
• You move easily within large organizations and know how to create support for your ideas by convincingly presenting concepts to senior stakeholders.
• You are proficient with design and prototyping tools such as Figma and have experience with ideation and user research methods.
• You are passionate about hands-on UX design, enjoy working on design issues, and are comfortable facilitating workshops to achieve results.
• You master both Dutch and English excellently, both orally and in writing.
• A close-knit community of designers who collaborate, help each other grow, and celebrate successes together.
• The right digital tools: Figma for design, Miro for online collaboration and whiteboarding, and Microsoft Teams and Office for communication and file management. Additionally, tools are available for online user research, and there is easy access to test respondents.
