Organization

You work for a work-learning company in the Achterhoek region that, on behalf of municipalities, supports residents in participating in society, reintegration, and obtaining an income. The services range from income support and work-related day activities to guidance towards regular employment. The organization works closely with municipalities and other partners in the social domain.

The organization is working on improving efficiency, quality, and results, with integrated management and a coaching leadership style. Collaboration, accessibility, and focus on the resident are central.

Privacy Officer

As a Privacy Officer, you will be responsible for updating and safeguarding privacy policy and privacy processes during this temporary assignment. You will draft policy documents in accordance with the IBD template and ensure they take effect by the end of 2026. Additionally, you will update the processing register and privacy statement and establish a procedure for Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs).

You will be the point of contact for privacy and data protection. You will advise colleagues and management, both proactively and upon request, and monitor compliance with the GDPR and internal privacy rules. You will work within the team responsible for processes, alongside quality officers, among others.

• As Privacy Officer, draft policy documents regarding privacy in accordance with the IBD template and ensure they take effect by the end of 2026;
• Update the processing register and develop a procedure to keep the register current;
• Establish a procedure for handling DPIAs and inform involved colleagues about it;
• Assess whether a DPIA is necessary and support its execution;
• Update the privacy statement;
• Provide advice to colleagues and management on privacy and data protection, both proactively and upon request;
• Monitor compliance with the GDPR and internal privacy rules.
• The position is for 24 hours per week;
