Function

As a Project Engineer Aseptic Technologies, you will join a versatile production department for syringes within a pharmaceutical production site in the Puurs region. The department includes filling lines, an inspection line, a new preparation center, and autoclaves for terminal sterilization. Many projects are planned: the relocation and integration of an inspection line, decommissioning an autoclave, implementing automated debagging and transport, and introducing three new products. The department aims for a fully automated production process.

In this role, you will, among other things:

Profile

It is important that you:

• Collaborate daily with production and maintenance to identify quality issues, safety risks, or efficiency losses, always determining the root cause, proposing solutions, and following up on implementation.
• Implement new equipment or carry out major updates to existing equipment together with engineering and external partners.
• Facilitate project meetings with fellow process engineers and team members to ensure continuous monitoring and control of processes.
• Lead New Product Introductions (NPI) in collaboration with colleagues, from start to delivery.
• Become the owner of a specific production domain (filling or inspection) and be the single point of contact (SPOC) for that domain.
• Have a strong technical background.
• Have several years of experience in a production environment.
• Possess strong organizational and communication skills.
