Project Manager – Improvement Initiatives in Electronics

Project overview

We are looking for a structured and driven project manager who wants to lead improvement initiatives within an electronics section in a high-tech operation. The role suits you who combine technical understanding with the ability to create engagement, coordinate different competencies, and drive changes from idea to implementation.

Your role

You are responsible for planning, leading, and following up on improvement initiatives that develop the section's ways of working, processes, and collaboration. Together with managers, technical specialists, and other relevant functions, you will identify improvement needs, clarify goals, and translate them into concrete activities.

The initiatives may, for example, concern more efficient development flows, improved quality, clearer division of responsibilities, or better collaboration between electronics development, testing, and production. You ensure progress and contribute to new ways of working being anchored and becoming a natural part of the operation.

Main tasks

Identify and concretize areas for improvement together with the operation.

Define goals, scope, timeline, and resource needs for each initiative.

Lead and coordinate activities across team and functional boundaries.

Follow up on progress, manage risks and dependencies, and remove obstacles.

Prepare decision-making material and report status to relevant stakeholders.

Drive workshops and create consensus on priorities and changes.

Support the introduction of improved processes, routines, and ways of working.

Follow up on results and ensure handover to those responsible in the operation.

Requirements

We are looking for you who have experience in project management, change management, or business development in a technical organization. You have an understanding of electronics development or related areas and can familiarize yourself with both technical and organizational issues.

You work in a structured manner, take initiative, and have the ability to drive multiple activities forward. As a person, you are attentive and communicative, with a solution-oriented approach and the ability to build trust with both specialists and managers.

Relevant experience and competence

Project management and coordination of cross-functional teams.

Improvement work and development of processes in technical operations.

Planning, follow-up, and management of risks and dependencies.

Stakeholder management and anchoring of changes.

Technical university degree or equivalent competence through work experience.

Experience in electronics, hardware development, testing, verification, or production is a merit. Knowledge of Lean, agile ways of working, or other methods for continuous improvement is also valuable.
