Project Manager Soil, Environment and Management Middengebied Zuidplaspolder

Project overview

As an independent project manager, you will coordinate various sub-projects related to soil, environment, and management within the Middengebied Zuidplaspolder area development.

Profile of the suited interim professional:

• Determine the necessary soil and follow-up investigations and establish a research strategy per plot or sub-area
• Coordinate environmental investigations and any remediation measures
• Assess the environmental characteristics of hardened surfaces, water bodies, and objects to be demolished
• Develop the approach for permits, exemptions, and area-wide environmental advice
• Record and register investigation data and results
• Establish the approach for the design and management of the soil depot and monitor registration obligations
• Develop an approach for processing and circular application of released material
• Set up an approach for temporary management of plots, including exploitation possibilities
• Coordinate with the real estate department on structural interfaces
• Define the project scope and translate it into concrete sub-assignments
• Monitor progress, planning, risks, quality, and finances (GROTICK)
• Supervise procurement processes and coordinate assignments to external parties
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including residents and entrepreneurs
• Register project information and results in the GIS system
• Completed education at a minimum of HBO level
• Minimum 10 years of experience in a civil engineering and/or environmental field
• Demonstrable experience in managing projects related to various environmental issues
• Experience with structuring and coordinating complex projects with multiple stakeholders
• Demonstrable ability to achieve project results within set frameworks
• Strong communication skills
• A structured, accurate, and results-oriented way of working
• The ability to recognize developments, risks, and synergy opportunities and translate them into advice
• Possibility to provide a Certificate of Conduct
