Regional Coordinator Heat

Project overview

As a regional coordinator heat, you will strengthen cooperation between eight municipalities within the Stedendriehoek Region in the field of the heat transition.

Profile of the suited interim professional:

• Coordinate the implementation of the regional heat execution plan 2026-2027 and monitor the progress of the transition goals
• Organize and facilitate regional consultations, work sessions, and knowledge meetings and translate outcomes into follow-up steps
• Support municipalities in the development and legal and spatial anchoring of heat programs, including participation and decision-making
• Collect and share knowledge and practical experiences and stimulate cooperation between municipalities and regional partners
• Inventory the need for regional capacity and expertise and arrange appropriate support for insulation, heat infrastructure, and heat networks
• Monitor the coherence between the regional heat approach, the Regional Energy Strategy, and partners such as the province of Gelderland, Liander, housing associations, and energy cooperatives
• Diploma at least HBO bachelor level
• Demonstrable work experience with coordination and/or support of policy and implementation processes within the heat transition, such as heat programming, insulation, heat networks, and green gas/biogas
• Proven experience in regional collaborations between various municipalities and/or public and social organizations
• Demonstrable experience with organizing and facilitating consultations, work sessions, and knowledge exchange and translating these into concrete steps
• Own IT resources available, including laptop and phone
• Knowledge of the Environmental Act and the legal and spatial anchoring of heat programs is a pré
• Experience with regional coordination and inter-municipal cooperation is a pré
