Securitiy Transfer Specialist vacancy for our Zurich based client in the Banking sector.

• Process, instruct, and monitor global free-of-payment securities transfers involving equities, bonds, and standard investment funds.
• Investigate settlement-related information and exchange updates with counterparties by email.
• Issue settlement instructions to custodians and central securities depositories using SWIFT MT* messages and other communication channels.
• Monitor outstanding transactions and proactively resolve pending cases, discrepancies, and settlement issues.
• Handle enquiries and claims from counterparties, custodians, and internal stakeholders.
• Manage the shared mailbox and telephone hotline, distributing incoming work as appropriate.
• Detailed knowledge of securities settlement and post-trade operations, including mandatory expertise in SWIFT 54x message types (MT540, MT541, MT542, MT543).
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with SIS Portal, BBH Infuse, and related settlement tools is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of booking, reconciliation, and investigation of settlement discrepancies.
• Language skills: English,German fluent
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Clear communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work accurately under pressure and manage priorities effectively.
