Security & Privacy Manager Data & Digitalization (interim)

Project overview

As Security & Privacy Manager, you will lead digital security and privacy within the UMCG.

Profile of the suited interim professional:

• Directing the Integral Security & Privacy Plan
• Monitoring compliance with laws and regulations such as GDPR and NIS2
• Translating developments in AI, cloud, and digitalization into security and privacy measures
• Managing certification processes such as NEN7510, ISO27001, and ISO27701
• Guiding audits, pentests, and security assessments
• Advising management and board on digital risks and opportunities
• Increasing security awareness within the organization
• Collaborating with teams working on healthcare innovations
• Bachelor's or Master's work and thinking level, for example in IT, law, or security management
• At least five years of experience in privacy and/or information security
• Familiarity with the frameworks GDPR, NIS2, ISO27001, and NEN7510
• Practical experience in governance, audits, and risk management
• Strong advisory skills and well-developed listening skills
• Persuasiveness and administrative sensitivity
• A certification such as CISSP, CISM, or CIPP is recommended
