Job description
As Security & Privacy Manager, you will lead digital security and privacy within the UMCG, directing the Integral Security & Privacy Plan and ensuring compliance with regulations like GDPR and NIS2.
Project overview
As Security & Privacy Manager, you will lead digital security and privacy within the UMCG.
Profile of the suited interim professional:
- Directing the Integral Security & Privacy Plan
- Monitoring compliance with laws and regulations such as GDPR and NIS2
- Translating developments in AI, cloud, and digitalization into security and privacy measures
- Managing certification processes such as NEN7510, ISO27001, and ISO27701
- Guiding audits, pentests, and security assessments
- Advising management and board on digital risks and opportunities
- Increasing security awareness within the organization
- Collaborating with teams working on healthcare innovations
- Bachelor's or Master's work and thinking level, for example in IT, law, or security management
- At least five years of experience in privacy and/or information security
- Familiarity with the frameworks GDPR, NIS2, ISO27001, and NEN7510
- Practical experience in governance, audits, and risk management
- Strong advisory skills and well-developed listening skills
- Persuasiveness and administrative sensitivity
- A certification such as CISSP, CISM, or CIPP is recommended
