Job Description

Within the social domain, the municipality collaborates with care providers and regional partners to offer residents appropriate help and support. The focus is on the quality and continuity of services, within the agreed financial frameworks. For this assignment, we are looking for an experienced Senior Account Manager Youth and WMO who is confident, knows the world of care providers and municipalities well, and can quickly start working independently.

You are a strong discussion partner for the management and board of care institutions and know how to connect diverse interests, financial agreements, and substantive issues. You maintain strategic relationships, identify bottlenecks, and work with internal and external partners on suitable solutions.

What will you do?

As a Senior Account Manager, you are the connecting link between the municipality, care providers, and other stakeholders within the social domain. You are responsible for maintaining and strengthening relationships with contracted care providers within Youth and WMO, including the classic WMO and WMO 2015. You conduct discussions at strategic, tactical, and operational levels and act as a sparring partner for directors, executives, and managers of care institutions. You have insight into developments within various care domains and can translate complex issues into concrete agreements and solutions.

Furthermore, you look beyond existing relationship management. You actively contribute to substantive developments, identify areas for improvement, and collaborate with policy advisors and regional partners on the further development of services.

Responsibilities

Work environment

You will join an experienced team of account managers responsible for the collaboration between municipalities and contracted care providers. The team possesses extensive substantive knowledge in the field of Youth and WMO. You will work closely with fellow account managers, policy advisors, and other stakeholders within the municipality and the region. You operate in a dynamic environment where substantive, financial, and administrative interests converge.

Due to the temporary nature of the assignment, we are looking for someone who can quickly find their way within the organization, takes independent responsibility, and is immediately of added value.

Who are we looking for?

You are an experienced and confident account manager who knows the social domain well. You understand the collaboration between municipalities and care providers, are aware of the interests involved, and move easily at management and administrative levels. You combine substantive expertise with analytical skills and strong communication abilities. You are capable of quickly understanding complex issues, carefully weighing interests, and reaching clear agreements. Additionally, you are results-oriented, administratively sensitive, and persuasive.

You take initiative, do not shy away from difficult conversations, and can independently connect the right parties.

• Maintaining and strengthening strategic relationships with contracted care providers within Youth and WMO.
• Conducting strategic discussions and negotiations with management, executives, and boards of care institutions regarding substantive, qualitative, and financial agreements.
• Monitoring agreements made on quality, finances, and continuity of care and support.
• Analyzing financial data, performance, and other relevant information and translating it into concrete actions and improvements.
• Identifying and resolving bottlenecks and risks in collaboration with care providers.
• Acting as a connecting link between care providers, policy advisors, municipalities, and regional partners.
• Advising on complex issues and contributing to the further development and improvement of services within Youth and WMO.

• A completed HBO (higher professional education) degree.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience, preferably in a similar role.
• Extensive and demonstrable experience as an account manager within Youth, classic WMO, and/or WMO 2015.
• Broad knowledge of the social domain and the collaboration between municipalities and care providers.
• Demonstrable experience with strategic relationship management and negotiations at management, executive, and administrative levels.
• Experience with drafting, reviewing, and monitoring substantive, qualitative, and financial agreements with care providers.
• Strong analytical skills and demonstrable experience with data-driven work.
• Administrative sensitivity, persuasiveness, and the ability to bring different interests together.
• A proactive, independent, and results-oriented work attitude.
• A 36-hour work week is considered full-time employment.
• The CV must be submitted in Dutch.
• In the personal motivation, we would like to receive a clear substantiation of the required competencies and relevant work experience.
• Suppliers must be aware of the applicable legislation and regulations regarding employment conditions and the Municipalities collective labor agreement.
• The request has a duration of five working days, after which the shortlist will be presented to the municipality of 's-Hertogenbosch.
• A pre-employment screening will take place before the start of the assignment. The necessary documents will be provided via the portal. The candidate can only start after the screening is fully completed.
• The candidate must possess a valid passport or identification, which can be presented for verification during the intake and on the start date.
• By submitting a candidate, agreement is given to the applicable conditions of the municipality of 's-Hertogenbosch.
• The final rate depends on the knowledge and experience of the candidate.
