Senior Advisor Educational Housing

Project overview

As an advisor, you will contribute to the development and execution of educational housing within the municipality of Alkmaar.

Profile of the suited interim professional:

• Guiding on housing issues within primary, secondary, and special education
• Drafting and updating the Integral Housing Plan (IHP)
• Initiating and managing projects for new construction, renovation, and expansion of school buildings
• Translating national and municipal developments into concrete policy
• Informing and advising the executive board, management, and municipal council regarding educational housing
• Writing executive proposals, memos, and project plans
• Guiding decision-making and subsidy processes
• Monitoring planning, budget, risks, and quality within projects
• Collaborating with colleagues in the areas of real estate, finance, education, sustainability, and spatial development
• HBO work and thinking level
• Experience in real estate, housing, or project management
• Involvement with social facilities and the education sector
• Knowledge of laws and regulations regarding educational housing is a plus
• Work experience in a municipality or public organization is considered an advantage
• Strong communication and advisory skills
• Organizational sensitivity and political awareness
