Senior Case Manager Environmental Requests (secondment)

Project overview

As a senior case manager, you will handle environmental requests within the municipality.

Profile of the suited interim professional:

• Manage the entire process and content of environmental requests, such as notifications, preliminary consultation plans, and environmental permits
• Perform counter duties
• Handle submitted objections
• Assess requests and objections against laws and regulations, including the temporary Environmental Plan and the Building Decree Environment
• Obtain and process advice from internal and external advisors
• Advise the executive board on decisions regarding objections
• Inform residents and entrepreneurs about the temporary Environmental Plan and permit-free construction, both verbally and in writing
• Completed HBO education, preferably HBO Law
• Additional training ABW-1, supplementing with ABW-2 is recommended (desirable)
• Relevant work experience as a case manager for environmental requests, including counter duties and environmental permits
• Experience in handling objections, informal approach, and B.O.B.
• Affinity with automation and process-oriented work
• Strong communication and organizational skills, networker, and team player
• Insight into civil service, political, and administrative relationships
• Familiarity with the Utrechtse Heuvelrug region is recommended
