Senior Enforcement Lawyer (2x) (secondment)

Project overview

In the role of senior enforcement lawyer, you will be involved in supervision and enforcement within the domains of public order, safety, and environmental law.

Profile of the suited interim professional:

• Advising supervisors, enforcement officers, management, and administration on legal issues and enforcement measures
• Drafting enforcement decisions
• Representing the municipality in objection and appeal proceedings
• Participating in the further development and professionalization of enforcement
• Being involved in the entire enforcement process in collaboration with colleagues, management, and administration
• At least 2 years of experience, gained in the last 5 years, as a lawyer in the physical domain
• Experience with objection and appeal proceedings in the field of environmental law
• Experience with independently handling complex cases based on the APV and/or special laws
• A completed legal education at least HBO bachelor level
• At least 3 years of experience, gained in the last 5 years, as an enforcement lawyer at a municipality
• Experience, gained in the last 3 years, with complex enforcement cases under the Environmental Act
• Experience with providing advice to permit issuers, supervisors, enforcers, and/or policy officers within a municipal organization
• Willingness to work at the office at least 2 days a week, including Wednesday as a fixed team day
