Project overview

Within the Project Redirects of the municipality of Medemblik, you will perform the following tasks, among others:

Profile of the suited interim professional:

• Analyzing financial data from Key2Financiën and Cognos
• Preparing financial analyses of personnel costs, staffing, and external hiring
• Visualizing structural and incidental differences between budget and realization
• Substantiating decision cards and scenarios for the Spring Memorandum 2027
• Preparing financial information for the thematic meeting with the municipal council
• Preparing traceable business cases with financial substantiation
• Elaborating on the chosen measures towards the 2028 Budget
• Transferring analyses, files, and working methods to the internal organization
• Bachelor's degree in a financial-economic field of study
• Solid background as a senior financial advisor, business controller, financial controller, or corporate controller
• Thorough and current knowledge of and work experience with Key2Financiën
• Experience with municipal finance and the municipal planning and control cycle
• Skill in analyzing budgets, budget amendments, and realization figures
• Practical experience with preparing or testing financial scenarios and business cases
• Availability of an average of 24 hours per week for the full assignment duration of approximately 12 months
