Interim Senior Legal Counsel needed to temporarily replace a legal advisor within the Legal Affairs team of the municipality. The role involves advising colleagues on complex administrative law issues, drafting advice, acting as secretary for an advisory committee, and representing the municipality in appeal cases.

As a senior legal counsel, you will temporarily replace a legal advisor within the Legal Affairs team of the municipality.
Profile of the suited interim professional:
- Advising colleagues on complex legal issues within administrative law
- Drafting requested and unsolicited advice
- Acting as secretary for the external Advisory Committee for Objections
- Drafting advice for this committee
- Representing the municipality in appeal cases and requests for preliminary relief
- Applying the Environment and Planning Act in advice and decision-making
- Completed education at a minimum university bachelor's level in a legal field
- Minimum 8 years of work experience as a senior legal counsel at municipalities, gained in the last 15 years
- Experience as both secretary and respondent
- Minimum 5 years of experience within the physical domain, including in the areas of environmental law, APV and special laws, public order and safety, and Bibob
- Extensive knowledge of and experience with the Environment and Planning Act
- Political-administrative sensitivity
- Strong oral and written communication skills
