As a legal policy advisor, you will advise the mayor and the executive board on public order and safety matters. This includes drafting regulations, advising on enforcement measures, and managing permit requirements.
Project overview
As a legal policy advisor, you will advise the mayor and the executive board on public order and safety.
Profile of the suited interim professional:
- Drafting and updating regulations, policy rules, and decisions
- Advising the mayor and executive board on administrative enforcement, emergency orders, and area bans
- Establishing permit requirements to combat subversion and unscrupulous entrepreneurship
- Monitoring privacy frameworks within GDPR, Government Information (Public Access) Act, and Police Data Act
- Participating in the Public Order and Safety (OOV) on-call service and directing integrated nuisance approaches
- Legal education at a higher professional (hbo) or university (wo) level, successfully completed
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in a comparable legal advisory role
- Proven experience in advising on policy within a political-administrative environment
- In possession of VOG-Police Data and VOG-NP, or able to provide them immediately
