The Context

Our client, a major player in consumer digital, is strengthening one of its product teams dedicated to middleware BFF/CMS/Worker. You will join a squad of 5 developers and 2 QA, led by a Tech Lead and reporting to an Engineering Manager. It is part of an organization of approximately 45 developers. The services concerned are critical and handle very high traffic. The challenges are real-time, scalability, and high availability.

A pure backend profile. We are looking for real production experience in these areas, not just superficial knowledge, as the client will verify it in a technical interview.

• Design and develop high-performance BFF services
• Manage real-time and streaming flows
• Optimize performance and scalability (latency, load)
• Ensure operational maintenance: monitoring, production debugging, incident management
• Work daily with frontend and backend teams
• Node.js, advanced expertise
• NestJS, strong mastery
• Design of REST and real-time APIs: WebSockets, pub/sub
• Kafka (streaming)
• Redis
• PostgreSQL (advanced level), MongoDB
• Performance and scalability in real conditions
• Observability (logs, metrics, tracing), production debugging, incident management
• B2C experience with very high traffic
• Real-time / intensive streaming systems
• Distributed caching (e.g., Hazelcast)
• Docker / Kubernetes
• High SLA environments
