PLEASE NOTE: This assignment is not available for direct freelance deployment. Deployment can only take place via a secondment agency/supplier or via a payroll/employment contract. The work will be carried out under the direction and supervision of a public executive organization, which is why independent deployment is not permitted. Offering suppliers must be able to be included in the chain. For this, WAADI registration and a G-account are required.

In the context of 'Anders werken' (working differently), work is primarily done from home. MS Teams is used for meetings and digital encounters.

You are familiar with many 'markets' within Oracle Fusion. You independently translate complex and technical improvements/issues assigned to you into (user-friendly) solutions. Due to your broad knowledge and flexible mindset, you can help many users with the system with their questions/problems, ensuring issues are addressed and resolved quickly and adequately.

Your role

As a Senior Oracle Developer, you participate in the creation/safeguarding/realization of the Technical Application Management within the Financial Administration system of the Municipality of Rotterdam. You use your knowledge and skills to devise new solutions in the area of process and interface management. The assignment will be carried out within team CRI. This team works on behalf of the organization as the current functional and technical manager of Oracle Fusion.

Team CRI manages, among other things, Oracle Fusion modules Procurement, iProcurement, Inventory, Accounts Payable, Projects, Accounts Receivable, Order Management, Cost Management, Sub-ledger Accounting, Treasury, Real Estate, Time Registration, and Assets. In addition, the team advises the business, resolves issues, and facilitates changes and/or improvements at the request of the business.

Requirements

As a colleague in the CRI team, you possess the skills and qualities to purposefully and effectively fulfill this varied, dynamic, and sometimes stressful assignment. You have good communication and expression skills, both verbally and in writing in the Dutch language, to effectively assist users of the system. You have a strong analytical ability to quickly understand and resolve technical problems independently. Building the actual solution can be on any part of Oracle Cloud using the associated software. You work systematically and have considered how best to organize your work.

You have experience developing integrations between different systems and are capable of acting as a sparring partner for Oracle SaaS and PaaS developers to arrive at joint solutions.

The department

The mentioned scrum teams are part of team CRI, these teams consist of 50+ employees who perform functional and technical management for, in particular, Oracle Applications (Oracle Fusion) and also APRO (Payment Traffic and Imaging). Team CRI supports all clusters of the Municipality of Rotterdam that work with the mentioned applications. In addition to management, the department actively participates in changes to ensure the software works optimally for the Municipality of Rotterdam together with the organization.

• You have at least a completed HBO (higher professional education) degree;
• You have at least 3 years of work experience as an Oracle Fusion developer, gained in the last 5 years;
• As a developer, you have development experience with the following tools:
• You have knowledge of and work experience with the following languages:
• You have work experience within the public sector.
• You have at least 3 years of work experience with Agile working in a scrum team, gained in the last 5 years.
• You have work experience translating technical designs (TO) into solutions.
• You have functional knowledge of various Oracle Cloud/SaaS processes.
• You have functional knowledge of ITIL and BISL.
