Senior Project Coordinator

Project overview

Our financial services client is seeking a Senior Project Coordinator to join their team on a contract basis. This will be 6+ months with high likelihood of extension. This is 4x per week in Downtown Toronto and 1x per week WFH.

• Support the execution and delivery of medium-sized projects under the direction of Project Managers and Program Leads.
• Coordinate project activities across multiple workstreams, ensuring alignment with project objectives and timelines.
• Support both Waterfall and Agile delivery methodologies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and dependency management.
• Monitor, track, and report project progress against established plans, schedules, budgets, scope, and quality metrics.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, schedules, status reports, dashboards, and risk logs.
• Facilitate communication between project teams, stakeholders, and business partners.
• Assist with project budget tracking, resource coordination, and overall project governance activities.
• Identify and escalate project risks, issues, and dependencies as needed.
• Support leadership with project reporting and decision-making through accurate and timely project updates. Qualifications
• 4+ years of experience as a Project Coordinator, Project Manager, or in a similar project delivery role within a corporate environment.
• Experience managing project plans, schedules, budgets, stakeholder communications, and project documentation.
• Knowledge of both Agile and Waterfall project delivery methodologies.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously. In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data, including financial information. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment.
