Seeking a senior project manager with experience in the defense sector or for FMV to lead strategic IT system integration projects. The role involves managing complex projects from concept to implementation, working closely with clients and stakeholders.

Are you a senior project manager with strong leadership skills and a commitment to contributing to Sweden's defense capability? Then you might be the one we are looking for. Your New Challenge
With us, you will lead complex and significant integration projects – often on behalf of FMV or other clients within the defense industry and authorities. The projects may include design, construction, production, installation, and commissioning of IT systems on the Swedish Armed Forces' platforms such as ships, boats, vehicles, or containers. Your ability to navigate defense-related processes and regulations will be a key success factor.
Main Responsibilities
We are looking for you with
Business travel occurs. A driver's license for passenger cars is required. You speak and write fluent Swedish and English.
- Lead and coordinate projects from concept to implementation, including planning, execution, and follow-up.
- Project manage larger projects with multiple sub-projects.
- Coach and act as a mentor for junior project managers.
- Work closely with clients and stakeholders to ensure project deliveries meet requirements and expectations.
- Support in existing projects.
- Manage resources, budgets, and timelines to optimize project progress.
- Identify and manage risks and develop strategies to minimize impact on the project.
- Relevant education in technology, project management, or equivalent experience.
- Several years (7+ years) of experience in project management, within the defense sector.
- Good understanding of defense-related processes and regulations.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Experience in mentoring and coaching colleagues.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle complex situations.
