Project focus

You’ll join a Ruby on Rails delivery team building and enhancing digital services for a UK public sector client. The focus is core Rails feature delivery: building REST APIs, managing PostgreSQL data changes and migrations, implementing background processing and keeping quality high through well-tested code.

Minenhle Mdluli

• 5+ years’ commercial experience with Ruby, primarily on Ruby on Rails applications
• Strong PostgreSQL experience, including writing and managing safe migrations
• Designing and building REST APIs
• Background job processing (e.g. Sidekiq, Active Job or similar)
• Writing thorough automated tests with RSpec
• Comfortable working independently within an agile, remote delivery team
• Experience delivering for UK public sector clients is highly desirable
• Must be based in Portugal, Poland or Romania
